High Definition 3D Laser Surveys
Using the latest 3D laser surveying techniques we are now able to offer high definition 3D surveys which can be completed in a fraction of the time, up to five times the speed, of conventional methods. This can prove extremely beneficial, particularly in terms of minimising disruption, meeting extremely tight timeframes and risk reduction from time spent on hazardous sites. Our 3D laser scanning equipment can record detail to distances of up to 300m and so, in some cases, risk can be completely averted by undertaking the surveys from safe distances.
Using our Leica 3D laser scanning equipment and fully trained operatives, we are able to achieve complete data collection from a single site visit so should never have to return to site regardless of requirement changes. Subsequently additional costs of both further site works and the associated delays are eliminated.
This technology offers exceptional quality output to high definition photographic levels and can easily be converted into completely accurate 2D and 3D CAD plans. Using the truview software provided, 3D scanned images can be manipulated so as to be viewed from any angle and enables accurate measurements to be taken between any number of points. Levels and global positions / grid references are also recorded and so can be established for every feature contained within the 3D High definition laser survey drawing. In addition, the output from these surveys can be delivered in both colour and greyscale formats depending on actual requirements. Also, because of the ultra high definition acquired from the 3D laser scan, small cracks and movement can be recorded and monitored so as to form part of a very comprehensive dilapidation survey.
